Tina is delighted to have bred her first winner, ICONIQUE.
The 3 year old filly is by Sixties Icon ex Rose Cheval and is Tina’s first and only home bred so far. Iconique is leased to the Newmarket Racing Club and has been very patiently handled by trainer, Charlie Fellowes.
Having been left to strengthen up, she did not run as a two year old and the benefit of this has been proven this season. From 5 runs the filly has only finished out of the first 4 once.
Her well deserved win came at Yarmouth, in the (Class 4) 1m3½f, where she was given a perfect ride by Hayley Turner. She won relatively comfortably and all concerned were thrilled with the win.
